Feldenkrais

The Feldenkrais Method - with Nikhila Ludlow

The Feldenkrais method will help you:

  • with pain that limits your mobility: eg back or hip pain,
  • to improve a skill, eg using a computer, dancing, or running.
  • It re-educates.
  • and is taught in both group and individual sessions.

Gentle movements increase your awareness of your posture and ways of moving.  There are no postures, or steps to learn.Pain, muscular tension and stress can dissolve away, and you will move more freely. Over some time will develop a ‘self-help toolbox’ that you can dip into whenever you need to - for the rest of your lifetime.

For groupwork, the only pre-requisite is that you can lie on the floor. See details of workshops below.

About Nikhila: I discovered Feldenkrais in 1995 having taught and practiced yoga since many years.I completed my 4 year professional Feldenkrais training in 2005 in Switzerland.

I grew up on the back of a horse, then sailed professionally. I spent twenty years in total travelling, latterly in India, where I studied meditation, tantra,martial arts and dance – which bring a wealth of life experience to my work.
