These days more and more people, including many scientists, are turning away from the mechanistic thinking which has dominated our minds in recent centuries. Instead they are returning to an ancient understanding shared by wisdom traditions across the world: that this planet is one vast living being, in which every part reflects the whole. Astrology is a body of knowledge rooted in this understanding.

Your natal chart is a unique and complex map of the planets and other sensitive points at the time and place of your birth. The energies represented in the heavens are also within you, and show us a picture of you. I don’t believe that this picture compels you to be or do anything, but it does show the raw material you have been given to work with in this life. What you do with this material is up to you, but your birth chart can give invaluable help in finding who you truly are, and the path that is right for you. This can help you recognise and make sense of patterns in your life, reach a new level of self-acceptance and make creatively wise choices. We will also look at current astrological influences to help you work with and shape the present experiences of your life.

The fee for a natal chart reading is £85. An update and forecast for an existing client is £65. A natal chart consultation lasts approximately 1.5 hours. You will receive a copy of your chart and a recording of our session. Fees quoted include my time working on your chart before we meet, as well as our time together. Fees for couples’ charts and other astrological work will be agreed depending on your requirements.

About Moira:  I have worked as an astrologer since the mid-1980s, and more widely in the therapeutic field since the late ‘80s. I have the Diploma of the Faculty of Astrological Studies, where I received the 1991 Margaret Hone award for astrological interpretation. I also work as a psychotherapist and counsellor, and an energy healer. I have an MSc and Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy, and have been registered as a psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) since 1997. Other training includes couples therapy, person-centred art therapy, brief therapy, deep ecology, energy healing and shamanic healing.
