Aromatherapy – Su Wall

Aromatherapy is the use of essential oils to benefit the mind, body and spirit.  Essential oils are extracted from plants and have many valuable properties.  Chosen and blended correctly these oils can help with a wide variety of physical and emotional problems. 

Combined with massage, the client benefits both from the oils and the gentle touch of the therapist.  The oils are slowly absorbed by the body through the skin as well as the respiratory system.  They can also be added to bath oils, lotions and creams to prolong the beneficial effects. 

Aromatherapy massage is wonderfully relaxing and soothing and an excellent aid to sufferers of stress, muscle pain, insomnia, high blood pressure and countless other problems.  Regular massage can strengthen the immune system and improve your general well being. 

A full consultation is always conducted prior to treatment to ensure the client receives the appropriate oils for them.

About Su:  I am a fully qualified and insured local Complementary Therapist.  I gained an internationally recognised diploma in Aromatherapy in July 2003, a grade A diploma in Advanced Aromatherapy in April 2005, a grade A diploma in Hopi Ear Candling in August 2007 and a grade A diploma in Indian Head Massage in February 2008.  I am also a Reiki Master of the Usui System having passed levels1, 2, 3 and Advanced in 2009/2010.

I am a paid up member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists and adhere to their strict codes of conduct and ethics.  I regularly attend their local meetings and keep up to date with any new developments in my field as a continuation of my development as a therapist.
